FCSC's Competitive Soccer program provides a high-level training and game environment for dedicated players looking to challenge themselves and grow in the game. Our teams compete in the St. Louis Youth Soccer Association (SLYSA), one of the largest and most respected youth soccer leagues in the Midwest, known for its competitive nature and ability to cater to various skill levels.

Program Structure

  • Age Groups & Training Schedule

    U6 – U8


    Train once per week


    Focus on fundamental skill development, small-sided games, and having fun while learning the game.


    U9 – U19


    Train twice per week


    Emphasis on technical skills, tactical awareness, and team development.

  • League & Competition

    All teams will compete in the St. Louis Youth Soccer Association (SLYSA) League during the Fall and Spring seasons.


    Each team will participate in one tournament per semester (Fall & Spring), giving players additional competitive experience.

  • Where and when are training sessions held?

    Training sessions take place at N-Sports Rec on [training days/times TBD] based on age group.

    Teams are formed based on age, skill level, and tryout performance to ensure proper player development.

  • Do players have to try out to join?

    Yes, all players must attend a tryout to be placed on a team. Visit our Tryouts page!

  • What equipment do players need?

    Players must have shin guards, cleats, a soccer ball (size appropriate for their age), and an FCSC training kit.

  • How much travel is involved?

    League games are primarily in the St. Louis area.


    Tournaments may require regional travel, but families will be notified well in advance.

  • What if my child plays multiple sports?

    We encourage multi-sport athletes, but consistent attendance at practices and games is expected to ensure team development.

  • How can parents get involved?
